The interaction was good this past week. It seemed that the issue of what it means to know God was one of the hot topics. We can certainly continue some discussion on the topic with this post, though we may make an additional post or two on this or other topics as the week progresses.
Also, just to prime the pump, one of the subjects that will be considered this coming Sunday is the issue of what it means that God is spirit. Does this mean He has no form?
For now, let me encourage you to briefly read what the Westminster Confession has to say about the subject of God. Click on "Chapter II - Of God, and of the Holy Trinity." The three short paragraphs shouldn't take more than a minute or two. This will provide a good, brief summary of what orthodox Christians have believed regarding the subject.

Last Week's YouTube Clip
For those interested, below is the video of our friendly atheist from last week's Sunday School lesson.
Let's continue to consider how this impacts our faith. How would you answer someone like this? Would this man's arguments cause you to doubt what you know about God or Christianity? Would you be able to go to Scripture to defend yourself?
